The Usual Cumberbatch Seiyuu Join Cast for New Mushishi Anime Special

Minai Kumado

Satoshi Mikami, who usually does the Japanese voice over for the British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, is joining the cast of the upcoming Mushishi special (Tokubetsu-hen: Odoro no Michi (The Thicket Path)). He will play the character Minai Kumado.

The news was announced via the official Twitter account for the show alongside the information that character Tanyu Karibusa (to be voiced by Ai Kobayashi).

A new cast member, a returning character almost all loved… that is what you can expect in the upcoming special anime based on the original manga series by Yuki Urushibara.

Mushishi Zoku Shou is returning with it’s second season in October and until then you will have this eye-candy to enjoy.
