The mangaka of the Arata Kangatari manga series, Yuu Watase, has officially stated that she is hoping to resume the story in autumn. The new chapters should be out alongside a fourth deluxe volume. The fantasy manga has been on hold since February.
Publication will continue in the usual magazine – Shogakukan’s weekly Shounen Sunday. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English.
The plot revolves around Arata, who lives in a world of fantasy, and an Arata Hinohara, who lives in a modern-day Tokyo. When the two suddenly exchange places, chaos comes to their lives and the lives of those closest to them.
The TV anime series adaptation of the show was released in spring 2013 and lasted for 12 episodes.
