Kobe Awards Give a Lifetime Achievement Award to Hayao Miyazaki

The Lifetime Achievement award at this year’s 18th Annual Animation Kobe Awards was given to Hayao Miyazaki. The director, producer and animator retired earlier this year after decades at the top of anime box offices, fan polls and more. See below for all awards from the event!

After the jury of animation specialists has already announced their picks, the ceremony will be held on 8th December in Kobe, Japan. This is also not the first time Miyazaki wins at the Kobe ceremony.
