Kodansha Announced a Shingeki no Kyojin Spinoff Manga

A new title, based on the hit series Shingeki no Kyojin, will be launched in Kodansha’s ARIA shoujo magazine. The title will be created by Hikaru Suruga and based on scripts by Gan Sunaaku from Nitroplus and will revolve around Lance Corporal Levi. Chapter one will be released in the November issue of the magazine, shipping on 28th September, 2013.

Shingeki no Kyojin Gaiden: Kuinaki Sentaku Prologue (Attack on Titan Side Story: A Choice with No Regrets Prologue) was announced with the dubious and curious tagline: “How a thug from the royal capital is able to walk alongside humanity’s strongest.” In the manga we will learn about the past of not only Levi, but also the one he shares with Irwin Smith.

  1. At this point, anything Shingeki no Kyojin would be gladly accepted. Especially if it is about the apathetic warlord and the shady blond genius of the Chousa Heidan aka Recon Corps :)

      1. Yes, unlike Eren Levi is actually brave and self-aware. He is the real hero…and a clean freak :D
