Hiroshi Shiibashi to Release a Nurarihyon no Mago Spin-off

Mangaka Hiroshi Shiibashi will release a spin-off story of his popular manga series Nurarihyon no Mago. The title of the new project is Nurarihyon no Mago Gaiden ~Keikain Yobanashi~ and will centre on Ryuuji Keikain – the onmyouji brother of Yura and a former candidate for the head of the keikain family.

The subtitle of the upcoming spin-off roughly translates to Keikain Bedtime Story — The Demon who Collects Eyeballs. The main character in this manga will be the onmyouji Ryuuji Keikain and his deeds after he receives an unusual request. It is oriignall a two-chapter manga project.

The final arc of Shiibashi’s original Nurarihyon no Mago manga ended last year. The story was published by Shueisha in their weekly Shounen Jump magazine. Unlike it, however, the Bedtime Story will be released on the Jump Live app for mobile devices.
