Japanese seiyuu and actor Takkou Ishimori has passed away this Friday morning at the age of 81. Among other roles, he has voiced many anime characters including One Piece‘s Sengoku, Ga-Rei: Zero‘s Yuu Isayama and Buzzer Beater‘s Yoshimune.
The sad news was announced by colleague Noboyuki Kobushi through on Twitter. A comment by the actor of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere‘s Konishi was also made. He wrote that he wished he could play alongside the veteran seiyuu more so that he could learn from him. Sadly, this will be no longer possible.
