New Gintama Film Previewed by Shueisha

gintama final arc

A preview-poster of the upcoming installment of the Gintama movie franchise has been released by the manga’s original publisher Shueisha in the popular Weekly Shounen Jump magazine where the story is being printed weekly. The movie is entitled “Gekijouban Gintama Kanketsu-hen: Yorozuya yo Eien Nare” and will premiere in Japan on 6th July 2013.

The story of this new anime film will be written by the original creator of Gintama Hideaki Sorachi and will be entirely new and unique, of course – not present in the manga (for the moment). In general, the translation of this title means “Gintama The Movie Last Arc: Be forever Yorozuya”

Keep in mind that the Gintama TV anime will have its time slot taken on 4th April 2013 by the new series Aikatsu!.

    1. I am not sure the world would like to see the serious side of Gintoki… Not sure if that’s the idea of the mangaka as well. Oh, well…maybe a gaiden anime and manga?
