Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou Novels Get Anime Adaptation

Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou are several comedy light novels by Japanese author Shunsuke Sarai. The series’ most recent volume (6th) is coming this month and the ads announced a big and pleasant surprise for all the fans – the story will be adapted into a TV anime!

In 2011 the first book of the Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou series was released by Enterbrain in the publisher’s Famitsu Bunko. Author Sarai and illustrator Tetsuhiro Nabeshima united to turn this oddly dark comedy story into a source of laughter and fun for many readers.

The plot centres on a typical ‘book worm’ boy named Kazuhito Harumi and his life after he is killed during an armed robbery. He was not only resurrected aware of his past, poor boy, but also in the form of a small puppy. On top of his bad luck comes the fact that his owner is a creepy novelist who is a tad sadistic and her pet dachshund will barely get a chance to read anything good before she strikes her next hit on it.

Now, two years later, we will e able to not only read but also watch the unique events that happen around the little puppy and his owner.
