Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun Manga Ends in the Next Volume

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is going to end in its next volume. The news was announced in the 11th and second-to-last issue of Robico’s shoujo project which came out this Friday.

The manga began in 2008 and has since been printed on the pages of Kodansha’s Dessert magazine. An anime adaptation of the story was released in 2012 (My Little Monster was its English title in some official streaming websites).

The story of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun revolves around Shizuku Mizutani. She is a young girl who cares only for her school and future (not a bad thing, is it?). Anyway, there comes Haru Yoshida – a classmate and the boy who should have been sitting next to her in classes. He, however, is absent from the very start of the year and she should be the one to visit him and bring him notes and homework. Romance, friendship and a lot of interesting events happen to these two as they discover what connects and what differs them from each other.
