Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman Anime’s Trailer Streamed (Video)

bakumatsu gejinden romanA full 106-seconds-long promotional video has been released by the production committee of the upcoming anime series Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman. The historical show will be set during the year gap between 1853 and 1867 (called Bakumatsu). The series is an adaptation of Nippon Columbia’s original pachinko game. You can see the first actual animated scenes n the trailer below!

The story revolves around a man that leads a double life. During the day he goes by the name Manjirou who helps people in various situations and ways. At night, however, he takes on the personality of Roman the ‘retriever’. In this second part of the day he steals back people’s stolen property.

The show will premiere in Japan on January 7, 2013 and you can, of course, expect a full preview of it on The Shinigami List!

      1. Getting embarrassed here…thanks. There are not a lot of anime to watch lately as well…at least not for me. Wasn’t really away, just felt too lazy to comment. ;)
