Shogakukan Announces New Hayate The Combat Butler Anime

The newest combined issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shounen Sunday came out with the news that there will be a new Hayate the Combat Butler anime series! The show will air next spring on Tokyo TV.

There have already been two anime series based on the original manga by Kenjirou Hata. The first one aired in 2007 and 2008 with the second one following shortly in 2009. 2012’s Hayate the Combat Butler: Can’t take My Eyes Off You! was an original story that did not come from the manga. The concept for the new story that ran in 2012, however, was created exclusively by the mangaka Hata.
