The Last Arc of Vampire Knight to Begin in January

The final arc of Matsuri Hino’s Vampire Knight romance manga about the brotherly and romantic love in the live of Zero Kiryuu, Kaname Kuran and the cute miss Yuuki Cross will begin in January. The news was announced in the latest chapter of the manga.

Vampire Knight began in 2004 and have since been adapted into two anime seasons. The story is also probably one of the most famous recent supernatural romances from Japan. Now, 8 years later, the 17th volume of the manga is expected to be released on the market in December by Hakusensha (the publisher behind the magazine where Vampire Knight is printed). Non-Japanese speakers would have to wait until March 2013 for the 16th compiled book volume of the story, though.

The last arc in the story will begin on January 24, 2013 and no, there are still no news about a new animated TV series to be based on the unadapted manga chapters.
