Fuse Anime’s Cast Revealed

fuse animeThe entire main cast of the October 20, 2012 release is up for all to see. For everyone who is unable to read Japanese and/or has not been to the official website of the show, I am sharing the seiyuu with all of you. In my own opinion, this movie will be something we should look forward to, especially if we’re fans of history-themed stories.


Minako Kotobuki (K-ON!’s Tsumugi Kotobuki) as Hamaji

Mamoru Miyano (Steins;Gate’s Rintarou Okabe) as Shino

Kanako Miyamoto (Tamayura’s Kou Sawatari) as Meido

Katsuyuki Konishi (Beelzebub’s Tatsumi Oga) as Dousetsu

Maaya Sakamoto (Kuroshitsuji’s Ciel Phantomhive) as Funamushi
Hiroshi Kamiya (Ao no Exorcist’s Mephisto Pheles) as Makuwari
Hirofumi Nojima (Shakugan no Shana’s Hayato Ike) as Iesada Tokugawa

Fuse is an adaptation of Kyokutei Bakin’s original novel Nansou Satomi Hakkenden where, during the Sengoku period of Japan, eight able samurai are working for the well-being of the Satomi clan. Each of these eight people is a human version of a spirit, each a child of Princess Fuse and her dog-like companion Yatsufusa.

  1. Couldn’t bear the thought of something like ‘Moyashimon’ having as many comments as this potentially great anime movie…so – here I go ;)

  2. It is one of the best novels and it has more than 100 volumes (please, correct me, if I’m wrong)! Can’t believe it’s just a movie :( I am so much in need of an anime with a real Japanese feel to it.
