Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Web Manga Gets OVA

A delightful 4-koma manga about a charing girl and a silent boy will be getting an original video anime. The project has been green-lit 2-3 years ago, but the author has just announced the project. Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is a school story that is published in Square Enix’s Gangan online magazine.

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is a comedy that revolves around the lives of the silent Izumi Miyamura, a silent boy, and Kyouko Hori, the school’s most popular girl as well as a real charmer. It has a slice-of-life and romance shade as well as a lot of laugh.

The manga by HERO has been published in the monthly Gangan online since 2007 and the 10th compiled volume came out in December 2011. It even has a spin-off entitled Hori-Miya, written by Daisuke Hagiawara, that is published in another one of Square Enix’s editions – the Monthly G Fantasy.
