Master Keaton Re-Master to Launch in March

The original story of Master Keaton follows the deeds and mysteries that are being solved by the half-British and half-Japanese detective Keaton. Being a former SAS agent and also one of the brightest around, he had decided to renews his work as an investigator.

The new manga will revolve 20 years after the first one, but will once again follow the same protagonist. This time, he will be joining with the European forces to discover the truth behind many cases that no one else can solve.

Hokusei Katushita and Naoki Urasawa’s manga Master Keaton first appears in Shogakukan’s big Comic Spirits and Big Comic Original magazine in the 6 years between 1988 and 1994. The story has created a franchise that was never to be forgotten including a 24-episodes long TV anime series and 15 OAVs. Now, 18 years after the end of the detective manga, the creators, and mainly artist Naoki Urasawa, have decided to renew it with an entirely new idea and supporting characters. Mastser Keaton Re-Master is going to be released starting this March 19 in its old home – Big Comic Original.
