Sekiei Ayakashi Mangatan Gets Web Anime Adaptation (Video)

The web manga Sekiei Ayakashi Mangatan  will be getting it own anime adaptation. Unfortunately, as everywhere, Japanese companies don’t think it’s enough to invest is a random well-made manga and put it up national TV stations. The show will be a ‘web anime’. The first episode can be seen below.

If you’re unfamiliar with the meaning of a web anime and/or web manga – they are not simply items published online instead of on TV and paper, they are officially licensed items which are published online. Weekly Young Jump has been publishing the original story by Takanori Kawai until it was transferred to the online version.

The action takes place in the historical Edo period of Japan. The protagonist is Sekiei Toriyama – an artist that draws incredible works, but only depicting fantasy beasts and beings. People might think him out of their world and his mind, but in reality he is drawing the creatures he meets on his adventures.

    1. You can always check out the section called: The List in here and see some descriptions for yourself. I, personally, would suggest you Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Gintama and Beelzebub. Probably Death Note.
