Manga and Anime Creator Hisao Maki Passes Away

Unfortunately for all of us, the manga and anime creator Gisao Maki has passed away this January 2nd, 2012.

He is the man behind many projects, the most notable being the action manga WARU, Coming from his work, more than ten live-action movie adaptations have sprung, one of which even directed by none other than Takashi Miiko. Maki played in it, as well as in many more similar projects. He has also co-wrote the story of Ashita no Joe with his late brother Ikki Kajiwara and was working on the Futari no Joe game adaptations. The man was also a renowned karate instructor and had his own doujou –

There is almost no information about the death of the man itself, however, what is important is that he was not hospitalized fofr a long time before dying, but was rather going to enjoy his favourite hobby of yachting when everything has happened. He was 71.

Hisao Makki follows his brother into the world unknown to humans. I, as a shinigami, am hoping that he will be making other species enjoy his amazing abilities and high quality works.
