AURA – Maryuuinkouga Saigo no Tatakai Light Novel Gets Anime Film

School comedy light novel AURA – Maryuuinkouga saigo no tatakai by Romeo Tanaka will be getting an own anime film adaptation that will be ready for a 2012 release. This is what was written in Shogakukan’s Shounen Sunday Super Magazine’s website. Before the movie, there will also be a manga adaptation of the story, which will be published in the April issue of Shounen Super Sunday magazine.

The book centres around the young schoolboy Ichirou “Menzu” Satou who decides to sneak into his high school in the middle of the night in search for a forgotten text book. What he find there, though, is not only what is supposed to be present at a common, ordinary school, but a witch that is supposedly coming from an alternate reality, a parallel world.

Tanaka sensei is famous throughout the otaku community for many reasons. One of them is his contribution to Black Rock Shooter’s animation; his own works’s list includes CROSS†CHANNEL and Yume Miru Kusuri: A Drug That Makes You Dream (both are adult visual novels).
