Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Stage Play Announced

Code Geass is undoubtedly on of, if not the, most popular and loved recent television anime series. It has powerful upgradable mecha with cool names, mind games at their best, bishounens and above all – the je-ne-sais-quoi of CLAMP. Having inspired two Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion series and some hit movies, the manga by one of Japan’s most appreciated mangaka teams is going to hijack the stage.

The play is to bear the title Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Souran Eve Matsuri (Riot’s Eve Festival) and will premiere April 7, 2012 running through April 16, 2012. The place you would be able to see it will be the Mozart Hall in Katsuhika Symphony Hills, Tokyo. Additional information will be available on Christmas day (December 25, 2011) and it will hopefully tell us who will play who and what the plot of the play will be.

I, as a newborn Code Geass fan, am definitely going to try and see this as long as I am in the dimension. What about you?
