Prospective US President Herman Cain Admits … Quoting Pokemon!

I have always known that Anime and Manga can create a prospective someone in the mass of faceless no ones. This time, I am showing you the prove of my thoughts – the prospective candidate for a US president who has just suspended his candidature this Saturday has admitted to have been quoting the Pokemon franchise throughouthis entire campaign.

Everyone who has watched the anime show would’ve guessed it, but for all of you who either couldn’t know about this event or haven’t noticed the text from the popular theme song “The Power of One” sung by Donna Summer:

“I believe these words came from the Pokémon movie. Life can be a challenge… But you and I can make a difference. There’s a mission just for you and me.”

Here is a little video by Banzchan with the quote and the song from the Pokemon 2000 movie.

What can I say? It is always a good thing to hear a classic, when it hppens in politics, it shows me that anime acn change the way things are going in this world. After all, since that was my main aim coming here, I am glad. Just for your information, I have to add that I am by no means politically involved or biased on the topic.
