The new Sega game whose advertisement was created entirely on the Hatsune Miku and other vocaloid system-based idols’ performances, entitled Hatsune Miku ~Project Diva~ Extend has broken the record for the weekly sales of November 7-13rd (all according to Media Create). This is not unexpected, I would have even expected bigger and better numbers from the impossibly famous 3d idols! Anyways, that is more than a job well done since it topped CAPCOM’s Sengoku Basara 3: Utage on both Wii and PSP. The action game based on the Sengoku Era of Japan sold 124,197 copies of its PlayStation 3 version and 50,747 copies of the Nintendo Wii version.
More detailed information and numbers can be seen in the source article. For me, there is only the pressure of not having bought the Sengoku Basara: Utage game this past week and thus not being able to help statistics… though, I would have also abought Sega’s ~Project Diva~ extend too…
