Aya Hirano on the Cover of Rolling Stone

Aya Hirano, the famous Japanese voice actress and singer who has been the seiyuu behind a ton of anime characters including the extremely cute and enchating Misa Amane from Death Note, Fairy Tail’s Lucy Heartfilia, the sexy maid in Kuroshitsuji’s second season named Hannah Anafeloz, Queen’s Blade’s  Nanael and …. even Haruhi Suzumiya herself! SO, what I want to tell you is that anime has taken over Rolling Stone!!!

The photo shoot has been done in Tokyo just a few days previously to the release of the video.

In addition to the cover photo and the behind-the-scenes video, Aya is also present through the long interview she has given the magazine.

We all need to be happy that Hirano-san has taken a turn in her career and after the prohibition to take on new roles in her previous agency, she has already started to accept to be the seiyuu of upcoming anime series and more while in her new agency.

A behind-the-scenes special video long about 120 seconds has been streamed on the official site of Rolling Stone Japan. It can be seen HERE.

Is this great news or not-so-great? What do you think? Comment below.

  1. I’ve just seen the photoshoot video… She’s so cute. Unlike European and USA “stars” who just act slutty, she’s nice, cute and charming. She also looks serious, professional and smart.

One of the reasons I will always be a sucker for Japan…
