Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. and Final Fantasy XIII with 3D Awards

On Thursday, the first International 3D Awards Lumiere Japan were held by the  Japanese Committee of the International 3D Society. The new event will grant awards for full motion movies, short films, documentary works, commercials and even concerts s long as they’re 3D.

The first proud winners are:

Grand Prize

“A3D Ayumi Hamasaki Arena Tour 2009 A – Next Level –” concerts by Sony

Best Movie

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex by director Kenji Kamiyama and produced by Production G.I.

Best TV Animation

Hipira: The Little Vampire (3d-converted) pruduced by Bandai and directed by Shinji Kimura and Katsuhiro Otomo.

3D theater ads

Final Fantasy XIII role-playing game commercials by Sony.
