Monthly Persona Magazine for All the Fans

Monthly Persona Magazine is just the thing we need to show us that the gaming and anime business is not dead. A specific magazine for a franchise isn’t something as unknown around these circles, but since the Recession these last few years, it seemed like everything has gone quiet. Well, ASCII Media Works are shouting out loud that their business is as fine as it could be, releasing a special Persona Monthly Magazine fro November 7, 2011.

In general, between the pages there will be information about the game franchise, f course, as well as about the anime and manga ones. It will be a little monthly haven for the die-hard Persona fans.

In the very first issue of the magazine, you will read about: Persona 4: The Animation (a full 16-page spread about the just started anime TV series based on the game), interviews with the director and main seiyuu, a regular column about all the system specs, characters and entire world of Persona the Games, information on the upcoming Persona 4: The Golden and the first ever fighting Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena. Illustrations by leading artists will be included in each issue, the Persona 3 manga will be back and an entirely new Persona 4 manga spin-off will also be on the pages of the new monthly magazine.

  1. I still can’t get the word “Pe-ru-so-na” out of my head… How the hell do he do that? Why did he know what to do with it? Why the glasses? So many questions you don’t ask when playing a game, because the answer is “Cuz he’s asum”, but you DO ask yourself when watching an anime.

That’s not really a story thriller, so I wonder what valuable will it have in the magazine? Collectible stickers…?

    1. An A4-sized poster of a swimsuit character and the main one on the other side, obviously… >.>

Quite correct, but it’s a breath of fresh air from the shoujo and cutsey-girls anime that swarms up the news lately.

  2. Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed the first 2 episodes of the currently airing anime, even though I’m a big hater for shallow plots.Guess the Persona 4 franchise is flying high now…
