Lupin III Voice Cast Changed
For the first time in 16 years, the voice cast of Lupin III has been changed. The news about the different seiyuu for characters Zenigata, Goemon, Fujiko were announced in Mainichi Shimbun’s Mantan Web siteon Sunday. The new actors will take on their roles in December’s special Lupin III Chi no Kokuin ~Eien no Mermaid~ (Blood Seal ~Eternal Mermaid~). This will be the first Lupin III installment, even though smaller than usually, after a break of almost 2 years.
Here are the new seyuu and their respective roles:
Kouichi Yamadera (Briareros Hecatonchires in Appleseed, Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebob, Togusa in Ghost in the Shell, Jubei Kibagami in Ninja Scroll) as Inspector Zenigata
Daisuke Namikawa (Ulquiorra Ciffer in Bleach, North and South Italy in Hetalia, Baka Ouji in Level E, Fai D. Flourite in Tsubasa Chronicle) as Goemon Ishikawa
Miyuki Sawashiro (Beelzebub in Beelzebub, Canaan in Canaan, Dalian in Dantalian no Shoka, Celty Sturluson in Durarara!, ) as Fujiko Mine

Having in mind I haven’t watched the entire series it was my initial reaction too! (will have to fix this issue with the unfinished Durarara!)
