Senhime Zesshou Symphogear Anime to Air in January

The new original anime TV series entitled Senhime Zesshou Symphogear tells the story of two young female singers who take on a heavy duty to protect the world, fighting against a powerful enemy called Noise. According to the written announcement in this month’s Monthly Newtype magazine by Kadokawa Shoten, the show is set for an early-year release in Japan (January,2012) although no exact date is given. The official site of the anime is still under construction since last month.

The official original creators are musician Noriyasu Agematsu from Elements Garden and game developer Akifumi Kaneko. The director at Encourage Films is Tatsufumi Itou (Mahou Sensei Negima!: Mō Hitotsu no Sekai – Extra Mahou Shoujo Yue).
