I know what you’re going to say: nothing can be better than the foamy cappuccino that Starbucks makes you, nothing can be better than the Giant Peach Tazo tea. What about a few actual Asian voice actors, original anime events and tons of cool action figures and other merchandize included in a package with a lot of caffeine or juice?  The latter is what Tetsujinka Keikaku (Tetsujin) and Good Smile Company are planning to offer to Japanese, Taiwanese, Thai and Singaporean people.

The anime theme will surround the entire staff as well as the Cafè itself. The theme will be changed each third month. The first one in Akihabara will be Puela Magi Madoka Magica.

The first Anime Cafè will open in Akihabara (Akiba), one of the main otaku zones in the world, on October 28, 2011.  The next ones will open through the next three years. Ten such facilities are planned as a whole.
