Sket Dance Cheats on Gintama with Bakuman

I know, I know, my titles get more and more absurd, but after having THIS title, I just had to best it out. What else could’ve I thought of when we have the same topic, the same collaboration but a different couple?

Okay, now with the news:

In its 43th issue, Weekly Shounen Jump by Shueisha has announced that there will be three cross over episodes will be aired. The couple this time will not be Gintama and Sket Dance, but Sket Dance and Bakuman. It is no wonder the

producers have chosen exactly Bakuman and Gintama for the collaborational episodes, after all they are the two most anticipated anime TV series this year. Gintama’s Prime series aired April 4, 2011 and the crossover episodes with Sket Dance were broadcasted September 26 and 29, 2011. The air date of the new collaboration are not announced, bu more information is expected in the next issue of Weekly Shounen Jump.

To me, this seems like a very strong propaganda of Sket Dance, but it is not definitely a bad thing!

My questions is: what should be next crossover to promote Sket Dance according to you?

Bleach, Beelzebub, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Naruto, One Peace and Toriko are some of the other big series published by the same magazine. I, personally, vote for KHR! since I find the shows more alike.

I bet they haven’t checked Urban Dictionary before they used it, or it wasn’t used in that sense back then…

      1. Oh *silly, silly* my… A nice Engrish title. :D :D :D Bet it’s successful in the USA. Though, they have to watch out for misleading the audience… ;)
