Sentai Filmworks Licenses Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere

Sentai Filmworks are famous for their taste for fantasy and sci-i anime. Because of this it is no wonder the company is the one to license the upcoming anime TV series Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere. The project is directed by Manabu Ono (Saki) and the script is written by the able hands of Tatsuhiko Urahata (Beyblade, D. Gray Man, Nana, Monster). The anime is basd on the original ongoing work by Minoru Kawakami which has already sold over 750,000 copies in just Japan. The full scale of the books is eight items as for this moment.

In the States: broadcasting of the original anime TV series will start on the Anime Network Tuesday, October 4, 2011 with Japanese audio and English subtitles.

In Japan: the series will air October 1, 2011.

Blu-ray Disc retails will be available in Japanese with English subtitles in Japan from December 22,2011.
