Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! Licenced by Sentai Filmworks

Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! (Maji- Oh, Samurai Girls!) is a comedy (ecchi, school, shounen, action) story by Minato soft. The visual novel is also adapted into a manga series with the artistic help of Shinsuke Inoue. There is also an anime adaptation expected to come out October 2, 2011.

Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! is all about Momoyo Kawakami and her school in Kawakawa City, which is really into protecting the samurai spirit and a fight is not something to be afraid or shocked by, it is everyday life. Momoyo is a young girl that, although her strange character, is awed because she is invincible. Her friends are a group of seven. They are very close and together they have formed a special bond, living almost every hour with each other either in their headquarters (secret base) or talking from distance – it doesn’t matter. Things change, though, when new comers arrive on the rink.

Sentai Films has announced in their official newsletter that they are licensing the anime under the name of Majikoi~OH SAMURAI GIRLS! and it will be in a 12-episode format. The project is to be directed by Keitaro Motonaga (Princess Princess, Getbackers ).

    1. No idea. It does look sort of ecchi in the picture that is currently released, but I am not certain it will be as it is in the manga. I mean, I am certain it will be softer since it’s for the viewers, but it sure will have a bit of it.
