Kamisama no Memochou’s Sugii Hikaru Puts Unaccepted Script into Vol.8

The author of the popular novel Kamisama no Memochou has announced that an unaccepted script from the project and planning of the Kamimemo anime has been positioned in the 8th volume of his work. Although the original statement by the producer of the upcoming anime TV series said that everything around the project was being made in accordance with the author, it seems like that is not the case.

According to the latest news, the script for the Kamimemo anime has been suggested by Sugii HIkaru, but unapproved by the producer except for the brief introductory story and the rough outline of the plot. In reality, the final script has nothing to do with what the original creator has wanted to do.

Even though there are no words of disappointment, if it were me, I wouldn’t be too happy with the situation presented, given the information is correct. Why would you make a project based on someone’s work if you don’t like their ideas so much? Judging from the fact that there is no word about whether the author actually liked the final script, I must say that this is going to be something to be wary about.

  1. They sure liked it! Just wanted to add some loser elements to make it sell better. Of course the author wouldn’t change a story just to sell it. At least not make it worse… Are they allowed to the rights, if they rejected it?

    1. Well, since they have agreed on the contract and using the name – they do have the rights. Also, the author has already published the project-script in the 8th volume of the novel, so there’s no loss for the fans. For now.
