Vampire Hunter D’s Yoshitaka Amano to Be at Hawaii’s Kawaii Kon
It was just released today that the illustrator of most Final Fantasy games and the Vampire Hunter D franchises Yoshitaka Amano will attend next year’s Hawaii Kawaii Kon, which will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu from March 16 to March 18.
Among the already mentioned Japan-related works of Amano-sensei, he has also been a collaborator for Neil Gaiman’s Sandman: The Dream Hunters. The Japanese creator is also releasing his first full-length 3D project in the beginning of 2012. It will be a production of his own studio entitled Devaloka. The 3D anime will be called Deva Zan.
Among the other guests at the Kawaii Kon will be Vic Mongogna and Lisa Ortiz as well as Johnny Young Bosch.
Surely Kawaii Kon is becoming a convention one wouldn’t want to miss on!
