After receiving the long-awaited continuations for Durarara!! and D.Gray-man, who would have guesses another great show will also be returning to the screens. Yes, it’s Code Geass, and it’s not a bait, joke, nor a lie. Code Geass is back, and it will be one hell of a comeback with new series entitled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch and a movie trilogy which will recap the original TV series.
Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection) will be a pure sequel to the Hangyaku no Lelouch series. It will take off after the so-called Zero Requiem plan.
The news was announced during the 10-year anniversary event which was held in the Maihama Amphitheatre this November 27.
One lovely game which the event organisers have created (seemingly, because it is yet to be officially announced) is that they included a special message in the invitation:

What the fans has seen inside is the text “魔神の復活” a.k.a Majin no Fukkatsu a.k.a. Rebirth of the Daemon. Considering the titles of the first episodes for the original two seasons of the anime ( Majin ga Umareta Hi a.k.a. The Day a New Daemon Was Born and Majin ga Mezameru Hi a.k.a. The Day a Daemon Awakens respectively), it is very likely we will be seeing more of our beloved and almighty Daemon.
Well, fans, it seems like all bad things (such as waiting for a continuation of your favourite anime) also come to an end; at least in the anime world!
