Kill La Kill and Other Manga Are Ending Soon… What Now?

kill la kill

Kill La Kill, 101-hitome no Alice and Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha are all ending soon. The news came almost simultaneously, leaving many otaku with one less title to follow. Surely, the end of the adaptation of the recently-aired original anime Kill La Kill will be the hardest strike, but what follows is what matters.

Ryou Akizuki’s Kill La Kill is ending on 4h February. This will be the following issue of Young Ace magazine and the story’s 17th chapter.

Recommended series: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, FLCL, Shoujo Kakumei Utena

Shinshokan also announced the end of an ongoing manga series. Chigusa Kawai’s 101-hitome no Alice will end in the April issue of Wings magazine. It will be published on 28th February. Unlike the preivous title, this one is an oldie, having begun in 2007.

Recommended series: La Esperança, La Corda d’Oro

The last manga to end soon (by now) is Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. a.k.a. Inari Konkon. The manga’s final volume (tenth) will come out in the first quarter of 2015.

Recommended series: Noragami, Kamisama Hajimemashita

Sources: Kill La Kill, Shinshoukan, Inari Kon Kon

What manga do you plan to focus on during the upcoming year?
