Steins;Gate -The Committee of Antimatter- Novel Cancelled

Steins;Gate -The Committee of Antimatter- Steins;Gate -The Committee of Antimatter- has been officially cancelled and will not come out. Seems like Okabe will not be playing the Yorozuya role anytime soon. Read about the events surrounding the new (cancelled) story below.

The novel was announced with a fall 2014 release, but then changed to January 2015. Seems like the problems persisted and the project cold not be completed.

The Steins;Gate -The Committee of Antimatter- story was going to revolve around several original lab members and how their lives went. The year – 2016, Okabe Rintarou has already graduated and has industialised the Lab. While he is still trying to make ends meet, however, his co-founder Daru is making everything happen through his computer work, getting almost all the finance himself, too.

In order to make things happen, Okabe has to take on small jobs and become a modern-day Yorozuya.

The novel was being written by Choushirou Miwa with Tadasu Yoshida being the illustrator.

Some fans suppose the reason behind this cancellation was a real-life event related to the Steins;Gate -The Committee of Antimatter- sub-plots, much like what happened to Coppelion.
