Durarara!!x2 , as is the official Japanese title of the show’s second season, will begin in January 2015. At the same time, PS Vita owners will be able to play with their favourite characters in 3D. See more details on the two projects from the franchise, including the staff for the upcoming series, below!
The PS Vita game’s title is Durarara!! Relay and it, unlike it predecessor, will have 3D characters and game screens. “Relay” is a gaming system that allows the players to switch between characters with each new chapter. This is also the system that will be used in this project. In it, the players have a chance to deliver scores of briefcases via Celty and her deliveries. Ahri, Masaomi and Mikado are about to start their third term in the academy and the usual gang deals happen in Ikebukuro with Shizuo Heiwajima being aggressive, Simon giving leaflets around and Izaya…well, he’s gonna be just Izaya-ing I guess.
The main cast is returning as we know it from Durarara!! TV series.
The big news, however, is that we finally know when the second TV anime series of the franchise will premiere! Starting January 2015, Durarara!!x2 will air on Japanese TV channels.
Here’s the staff as it was released earlier this week:

Only two of the staff members haven’t participated in the first series. Can you find out who they are?
Okay I will tell you – Shuka (Animation production) and Tomoyasu Fujise (Art Setting). Shuka, on the other hand, is a project by a former Brains Base member, so the animation production is still in the family.
The hype is definitely on and I still don’t have a review for Durarara!! season 1!
