Capcom’s Meiji-Based Game Ace Attorney Revealed (Video)

The first official video of the upcoming Ace Attorney game by Capcom was released earlier today via the company’s official YouTube channel. Some gameplay and the theme music by are present in this first trailer! See it below.

The game will be released for Nintendo 3DS and will be directed by main franchise developer Shu Takumi. According to the team, the story is not a real part of the Ace Attorney universe, but is also not entirely detached from it.
The full title of the game is: Dai Gyakuten Saiban -Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken- (Great Turnabout Trial: The Adventures of Ryuunosuke Naruhodou).

The story centres on the young Ryuunosuke Naruhodou, an ancestor of a great lawyer known for his bluffs and as the originator of the turnabout methods. He is joined by a female assistant named Susato Mikotoba (in the video as well).
