Sony Sells Its Shares in Square Enix for c.a. 4.8 Billion Japanese Yen

shinigami listSony has announced that the company is selling all of its shares in the Japanese game, manga and anime producer Square Enix. 4.8 billion Japanese yen is the preliminary amount they will get for the deal from buyers SMBC Nikko Securities Inc.

The buyer is defined as a provider of financial products, advise and assistance to corporate and individual clients. Its services cover international zone from Japan to Europe to North America. (Businessweek)
