Tales of Zestiria, the new instalment of the Namco Bandai Games’ series Tales of…, will be released in all countries. The PlayStation 3 game will come out as the 20th anniversary title of the series, to be celebrated in 2015.
The producer of the series and one of the main responsible for its success in the last few year, Hideo Baba, noted that the worldwide release is a reverence to the fans from Europe and North America with whom the project has made quite a connection.
Over the past few years the Tales of… team has taken great strides to strengthen our relationship with players across North America and Europe. To respond to their love and support I am honored to open a new chapter of the Tales of… series together with Japanese and overseas fans.
The story of this new game will centre on the Slay (Ryohei Kimura) and Aleesha (Ai Kayano) from the land of Greenwood.
Animation scenes and footage for this instalment are also provided by animation studio ufotable, popular for their work on Kara no Kyoukai and the Fate/… series.
