2013 Newtype Anime Awards – Shingeki no Kyojin Is the Big Winner

newtype awardsNewtype Magazine’s anime awards have been announced. The biggest winner is, without being much of a surprise, director Tetsurou Araki’s Shingeki no Kyojin. Other titles with more than one awards are Girls und Panzer, Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning and Psycho-pass.

Out of the 16 categories, Shingeki no Kyojin, or its seiyuu, wins 7 awards (13 mentions as a whole). The next biggest winner is Gekijou-ban Steins;Gate Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu with two first spots. Psycho-pass, Gintama’s new movie and Love Live! are also some of the awarded titles.
