The latest issue of Mag Garden’s Beat online magazine revealed that Nanae Chrono will be resuming her Peacemaker Kurogane manga in a future issue, coming out in December this year. For those of you who are not familiar with the story of this manga (which was also adapted as an anime series), I suggest you read the review linked above.
Chrono-sensei started the story with the title “Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker”. At the time, it was published in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan. After that, in 2001 she changed publishers to Mag Garden and renamed the series to Peace Maker.
The manga has quite the bad luck with the non-Japanese speaking market. First, two volumes were released by ADV manga before the company closed doors. Then, the first series was printed by Tokyopop before this company as well announced its NA branch’s bankruptcy. Lately, JManga licensed the title for digital release, but it also met the same fate and concluded with all of its projects a couple of months ago.
