Break Blade Anime to Have a New Instalment

A new project from the Break Blade franchise has been mentioned by mangaka Yunosuke Yoshinaga in an interview for Da Vinci magazine. The new anime project has not been discussed in details in the interview, but more information has been promised to come in the future.

The first adaptation of the Break Blade manga was realised in the months of 2010 and 2011 when the mecha story came out in the form of six anime movies.

The project was produced by Production I.G and Xebec, directed by Testuro Amino (Macross 7) and Nobuyoshi Habara (Fafner). The screenplay was handled by Masashi Sogo, famous for his screenwriting of shows such as Bleach, Fairy Tail, Gantz and several episodes of Hunter x Hunter.

Yeah… Break Blade is fun.

From what I see people are creating mainly two types of anime: total moe nonsense and products that will sell well in the USA.

Deep…Isn’t it called commercial anime? meaning it sells satisfactory and brings profit?

It was not bad at all, so good news!
