As a part of the promotions going on for the upcoming AnoHana: The Movie sequel to Tetsuyuki Nagai and A1 Pictures’ anime project, the Seibu line is also being transformed into a Choo Heiwa Busters train!
The 2013 movie based on the original AnoHana (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai) anime series from 2011 will be released on 31st August. As a part of the promotion for the new instalment in the story of Menma and her childhood friends, the Seibu railway train which passes through the AnoHana setting in Chichibu, Saitama has been adorned with seevral AnoHana posters and promo pictures.
The movie’s story will revolve around a new gathering of the old Choo Heiwa Busters team, exactly a year after the end of the anime series.After being reunited, after having their worst fears dispelled by their late childhood friend Menma, the living five members of the Choo Heiwa Busters squad are gathering in their old secret base to tell Menma about what has happened in the past year. Each of them writes her a message, a letter of gratitude for helping them all to keep on going forward in their lives as well as a message of appreciation and love.
