Kadokawa Ceases Publishing Newtype Ace Magazine

Newtype Ace magazine was first released on the Japanese market in September 2011. This monthly publication is the sweet home of some of the publisher’s most popular titles including Tiger & Bunny, Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and Ginga Kikoukai Majestic Prince. Below you can read where these and other titles will continue to exist after the magazine’s end of publication, which is effective immediately.

The next chapters of the magazine’s publications will appear all over the Kadokawa platforms. There is no certain information if the titles will then be added to a unifying media or not.

Tiger & Bunny, Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince and Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet will go online on Niconico. Vol. 94 of the Niconico Ace website is launching on 20th August.

Space Battleship Yamato 2199,Fantasista Doll Mix (also on COMPTIQ magazine’s September issue – 10th August), Code Geass: Oz the Reflection (also on Monthly Comp Ace magazine’s October issue – 26th August)

Coming to Niconico Ace website magazine’s 95th volume coming out on 27th August is Koukaku no Pandora ~Ghost Urn~ to come out in Kadokawa Niconico Ace website, Vol. 98 (17th September)

Full Metal Panic! Another will come out in Kadokawa Niconico Ace website, Vol. 99 (24th September)

Kidou Senshi Gundam UC: Niji ni Norenakatta Otoko (Mobile Suit Gundam UC: The Man Who Could Not Ride the Rainbow) will end with final chapters in a book volume.

The Super Dimension Fortress Macross The First will continue on the Official Macross site and Kadokawa Shoten’s Macross site.

    Too many useless magazines any way. As long as all manga are being published, I don’t mind.
