The second instalment of the Ghost in the Shell: ARISE 4-part anime saga will premiere in movie theatres across Japan on 30th November 2013. The subtitle of this second part is border:2 Ghost Whispers and its official website was also just launched. See below information on the cast and staff.
The story will continue from where part 1 left off. We follow Motoko after her escape from 501st Secret Unit which leads to a new sense of freedom for the still young woman. She is also starting to biuld up her own team of quality fighters and killers, but something lurks in the shadows. Someone has entered into the Logicoma system and this leads to her being suddenly attacked by an armed unit. As a result of these events, she meets the man with the ‘never-sleeping eye’ called Ishikawa. He is an able hacker who is able to find information on everything and to sneak for this information into possibly any system. She also encounters the expert in electronic warfare actions and tactics Borma.
