Girls und Panzer with a Second Spin-off Manga

Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! is the title of the upcoming spin-off manga series that will come out in the May 27 issue of Media Factory’s Comic Alive monthly magazine. The artwork is by Nii-Marco (Twitter account linked with image) who is a Comic Alive regular.

Girls und Panzer was originally an anime series by Studio Bandai and director Tsutomu Mizushima. The story of the moe-filled comedy centres on several female characters as they race with tanks. As the models and machines themselves are coming from our own reality, this show took many hard-core machos. The show went on for 12 episodes and was finally completed in October 2012.

This is the second spin-off manga series that is based on this anime. The first one came out last year.

A new original story will also be made into a movie this year as initial director Mizushima returns to work on the project.

This is actually quite a good show…not that a lot of people would believe it :D

It is! And I say it, even though I am a girl and don’t care much about the cuteness of the girls in the anime. :)

It is good :D
