The nominated titles for the 17th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards have been announced by Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun. The am of the event is to show appreciation towards manga that follows best in the footsteps of the great Japanese mangaka Osamu Tezuka (creator of Astro Boy, Black Jack and many more). See the seven titles below!
The award ceremony will be held in the Tokyo office of the Asahi Shimbun on Friday, May 31, 2013.
