Japanese animation studio Gonzo has started promoting the upcoming anime short movie Ryo. It is a historical story about a young man named Ryo and his confrontation with the animated version of the actual historical Shinsengumi captain Hijikata Toshizou. The events are set in the Keiyou 2 year of the old Japanese calendar or the year 1866 by the western calendars.
