Nanae Chrono, who many of you probably know as the creator of the historical Shinsengumi-themed manga and anime series Peacemaker Kurogane, is going to have an anime adaptation of her other popular manga – Vassalord. The show is going to be an OVA and it will come out on March 15, 2013.
See the PV below.
Released by Animate store chain, the 16-seconds preview is exactly what people want to see – how the scene will be animated and what their favourite two characters will look like when coloured.
The OVA will ship along with the limited editions of the last volume (seventh) of Vassalord on March 15, 2013. The story follows cyborg vampire Charley, who serves the Vatican, and Johnny Rayflo – a trueblood vampire. The two of them often fight alongside each other, but many times also against each other. Charley has two seiyuu – child version by the French-born Christelle Ciari (after the initial plan to use Ryoko Ono because the role had to be in French) and adult version by Ryotaro Okiayu. His co-star Johnny is voiced by seiyuu Keiji Fujiwara.
