009 RE:CYBORG is the upcoming project by director Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: SAC, Eden of the East). The first short trailer for the upcoming full 3D-animated adaptation of the manga Cyborg 009 by mangaka Shotaro Ishinomori. Below you can see the 31-second-long video.
The trailer presents us some of the key features of the animation as well as a good hint at the main character’s most influential ability – acceleration. The movie will enter theatres in Japan (2D and 3D) this October 27 while later five more countries on the continent (Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea) will be getting the picture for an own theatrical debut.
